In this special edition of Happy Camper Radio, Skip speaks out for the first time about the tragic and sudden loss of his oldest daughter Kelly who was gunned down in the earlier part of the year. With the hot weather finally upon us, Skip and Daniel discuss ways to keep well refreshed, both at camp and out on the trail.

Taking an opportunity to get away for a couple of days, Daniel heads to the mountains of north Georgia to camp on the trail and take in some magnificent scenery.  While venturing the wilderness, he befriends a lost dog. Before his trip comes to an end, his new found friend is happily reunited with her owner who hasn't seen her in three weeks. A true heartwarming story he is delighted to share.

Meanwhile, families dedicated to the great outdoors have found creative ways in proving backyard entertainment to family and friends.
