  • NFL 2022 Week #13: Deshaun Grabs Balls In Houston...Again

    04/12/2022 Duration: 02h30min

Week 12 in the NFL was full of odd events and outcomes, like most weeks this year. The boys got bit by most of the games and shared losing records. But as always, Jay and Dre are back to identify the best and worst before trying to rebound with their Week 13 picks ATS. Deshaun Watson's suspension just happens to coincidentally end this week, when his Browns travel to the scene of the twentysomething crimes, Houston. More importantly, the football gods gift us with FIVE (!) games between winning teams: Jets-Vikings, Washingtons-Giants, Titans-Eagles in the AJ Brown Bowl, Dolphins-49ers in the Mike McDaniel on a Pole Match, Chiefs-Bengals in the AFC title game rematch.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Week #12: Rotate!

    27/11/2022 Duration: 01h30min

Time for Jay and Dre to rouse from their post-Thanksgiving naps and check out the rest of the Week 12 action in the NFL. They pick all the games, even the ones with new quarterbacks, like Bears-Jets which may have Trevor Siemian vs. Mike White, the Texans starting Kyle Allen in Miami, the Panthers going to Sam Darnold hosting Broncos Country, and Bryce Perkins replacing the concussed Matthew Stafford for the Rams in Kansas City.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • Week 11 Recap + 2022 Triple Gobble

    24/11/2022 Duration: 01h43min

Dre returned to his winning ways in Week 11, coinciding with him not gambling, though Jay did come through on his Lock. The boys look back on a week of football that seemed to be characterized by just bad play. Then on Thanksgiving Eve they break down the NFL's annual three Turkey Day games, this year featuring five of the six teams with winning records: the homestanding Bills play the second of their two-game set in Detroit against the actual home team Lions, the Giants fresh off of a Lions butt-kicking have to go challenge the Cowboys, and the Vikings fresh off a Cowboys butt-kicking host the GOAT coach and the Patriots.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Week #11: Snow Place Like Home

    20/11/2022 Duration: 02h08min

A snowstorm taller than the average human choked out the city of Buffalo, but the football team was able to mobilize and fly to Detroit the day before they host the Browns in the Motor City. How will the chaos affect Jay and Dre's pick, if at all? After the guys discuss the proceedings of Week 10 in the NFL including the most eventful game of the year, they move on to predict Week 11. Jeff Saturday's Coaching Carousel gets a little tougher test as the Colts host the Eagles, the stumbling Cowboys visit the ever fortunate Vikings, and the league finishes its out-of-country itinerary for the year on Monday as the Niners and Cardinals battle in el Ciudad de México.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Week #10: What's The Record For Longest Held Breath?

    13/11/2022 Duration: 03h03min

For over 30 years, Jay and Dre have been testing their football wits against each other picking games. Week 9 of this year was the first time that one of them could only muster as many pushes as wins...and both of them did it! The boys discuss another bizarre week in the NFL before trying to improve with their Week 10 picks. Tom Brady runs all the way to Germany to escape his marriage as the Seahawks take on the Bucs in Munich, the Packers try to end their losing streak as they host the Cowboys in Lambeau, and all of Buffalo waits to see if their MVP Josh Allen can play through his bad elbow as the Vikings drop in to Orchard Park.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Week #9: Shrewd Moves, Snyder On Fire

    06/11/2022 Duration: 02h16min

Halfway through the 2022 NFL season, many questions remain for teams outside of the few that everyone agrees are on the mountaintop (Philly, Buffalo, KC). But even those teams fortified themselves at the trade deadline, all making smart deals that they hope will pay off in the playoffs. On their first morning show, Jay and Dre recap Week 8 and some of the trades, and chuckle at Dan Snyder announcing the commencement of the selling of the Washingtons. Then they make their picks for Week 9, which features TWO (!) games with winning teams: the Bills and Jets fighting for New York supremacy in New Jersey, and the Titans and Chiefs renewing their rivalry on Sunday night at Arrowhead.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Week #8: Pros Before Hoes

    30/10/2022 Duration: 02h40min

Jay and Dre review a rollercoaster Week 7 that saw Jay stumble early before righting the ship late, taking both night games ATS including a classic Bear Whispering in Foxborough. The trade machine fired up for a couple of guys this week, as Kadarius Toney goes to the Chiefs, Robert Quinn joins the Eagles, and the Jets replace Breece Hall with James Robinson. And we found out how much Tom Brady loves football--more than his wife, evidently. The guys have another tough week of picks, as yet again, only one game in Week 8 "features" both teams with winning records, the Giants and the Seahawks. Elsewhere, Jay's prediction of the Broncos ending Nate Hackett's head coaching career after they play overseas is on the line as they take on the London Jaguars, undefeated Philly hosts Kenny Pickett's Steelers, and Aaron Rodgers is the biggest underdog he's ever been as the Packers visit the Bills.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Week #7: McCaffrey Runs To The Bay

    22/10/2022 Duration: 02h34min

It was Dre's turn to sweep the head-to-head picks from Jay in Week 6, just as Jay did in Week 3. The boys recap the Week 6 happenings, including the fallout from the Game of the Year between the Chiefs and Bills. Then they pick ATS for Week 7, a week "featuring" one whole game between teams with winning records, Colts at Titans. In other happenings, Dak Prescott looks to return for the Cowboys as they host the Lions, Tua Tagovailoa looks to return for the Dolphins on Sunday night as they host the Steelers, and as Kansas City tries to rebound in San Francisco, Christian McCaffrey puts on the 49ers colors after Carolina sent him packing.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Week #6: Tackle Football, But No Tackling

    16/10/2022 Duration: 02h53min

The guys kept the big mo going with another week over .500 ATS for both, but the story of NFL Week 5 was how officiating was now overcorrecting football coming off the unfortunate Tua Tagovailoa issue. Now some regular tackles on QBs were being flagged even though there was literally no other way for the defender to make the play. And in the case of the Falcons, they were completely screwed out of a comeback opportunity. Jay and Dre try to figure out where tackle football is headed and discuss the rest of Week 5, then they dig into a tasty Week 6. Can the Pack manage to drop two games straight to New York? Can Pat Mahomes and Josh Allen have another classic as the Bills visit the Chiefs? Can Cooper Rush stay undefeated or will the Eagles keep their win streak and handle the Cowboys?   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Week #5: Back On Track

    09/10/2022 Duration: 02h39min

Week 4 in the NFL saw things go a little back to normal. Yes, there were events no one could have predicted, such as Geno Smith and Jared Goff having a shootout or Baltimore taking a huge lead on Buffalo and giving it all up. But way more favorites covered than had been this season, and Jay and Dre both put up double-digit wins ATS for the first time. They break down the happenings, then look ahead to Week 5, which sees the Kenny Pickett Era begin for the Steelers at the Bills coming off a tough game (yikes), the Packers in England for the first time as they take on the Giants, and the Eagles trying to stay undefeated in the desert against the Cards.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Week #4: Tua Concussed His Back Again

    02/10/2022 Duration: 03h10min

Dre ponders another rough week in NFL handicapping while Jay celebrates taking all five head-to-head picks in Week 3. The most discussed aspect of Week 3, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa being allowed to stay in the upset win over the Bills despite clearly being concussed, bled into Week 4, when he got stretchered off Thursday in Cincy in a disturbing scene. But the league and the team say his back was the problem, so nothing to see here, folks. The boys diagnose the rest of Week 4, which sees the first London game of the season between the Vikings and Saints, the last undefeated squad in Philly hosting the surprising Jags, and some headline QB matchups: Allen-Lamar, Russ-Carr, and on Sunday night, Mahomes-Brady.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Week #3: No Lead Is Safe, Officially

    25/09/2022 Duration: 02h08min

Week 2 in the NFL saw a triple shot of improbable comebacks, one of which cost Jay his Lock and his wife her Survivor pick. How much was bad defense, how much was great rallying, and how much was officiating calling the games too tight and allowing losing teams to climb back? Later, the guys sink their teeth into Week 3 and make their picks. Buffalo tries to keep their sizzling start going in Miami, Green Bay and Tampa Bay square off in a battle of GOAT QBs, and the World champion Rams visit the desert for a high-flying duel in Glendale, Arizona.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Week #2: Double-Play Monday

    18/09/2022 Duration: 02h37min

Recapping the first week of football is always an exercise in Overreaction Theatre, but how does one make sense of this particular Week 1? Upsets, surprises, furious rallies...it was one of the wildest opening Sundays, and the boys try to dissect what it means before predicting Week 2. Tom Brady's toughest opponent as a Buc has been the Saints, and they do battle in the Superdome. Cooper Rush's Cowboys host the AFC champion Bengals. Aaron Rodgers tries to own the Bears again in Lambeau. A Monday night doubleheader has Derrick Henry's Titans visiting Josh Allen's Bills, while Justin Jefferson tries to show out again as the Vikings take on A.J. Brown and the Eagles.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Week #1: Royal Pains

    11/09/2022 Duration: 02h34min

The first full Sunday of football is upon us for 2022. Jay and Dre marvel at the display by the Bills in the Thursday opener, dominating the World champion Rams at every level. Then they make their ATS picks for the rest of Week 1 as all of the new WRs start the jelling process in this, the real last week of the preseason. Tom Brady opens his 65th NFL season as his Bucs go to Dallas, Baker Mayfield tries to feel dangerous hosting his new squad the Panthers against his old squad the Browns, and on Monday night, Russ Wilson takes his Broncos to Seattle for one last cookout.    Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

  • NFL 2022 Preview + Bills vs. Rams

    07/09/2022 Duration: 02h59min

Jay and Dre are proud to start their 10th year of the podcast. Dre is on record being confused by all of the offseason moves and not having much confidence in his predictions, while Jay is his usual even-keeled self. The guys give out their 2022 season outlook, dissecting what it all means when Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, and A.J. and Hollywood Brown all change teams in the same offseason. They've got Super Bowl odds, division odds, and playoff odds as well. Then they christen the new season by picking the Thursday night opener between Josh Allen's angry Bills and Matthew Stafford's World champion Rams.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)

Sports newz of late include the Browns finally fully committing to the Deshaun Watson mistake by jettisoning their #1 pick Baker Mayfield to Charlotte, the NBA awarding rings to the summer league champs for whatever reason, and Jets QB Zach Wilson making stud moves off the field.   Theme music credit: "Spheres" by Robbero   (CC BY 3.0)
