The search for the next head coach at Arizona State has taking a turn for the surreal. What looked like Kevin Sumlin's job to lose last week has devolved into outright madness with rumors, contradictory reports and June Jones...twice. To help sort through all of this, Speak of the Devils brings in the best. First, we talk with Channel 3's Sports Director Tim Ring to sort through the crazy happenings of the last 48-hours. Arizona State football stands at a crossroads in the wake of this season's horrific finish and subsequent firing of Dennis Erickson. After a rough two week, Sun Devil Nation could use a pick me up. Who better than the star quarterback of ASU's 1987 Rose Bowl championship team, Jeff Van Raaphorst. Brad and Jeff discuss what being the only Rose Bowl winning quarterback means to him and why it's been so tough for ASU to get back. They then talk about Brock Osweiler, the player many think could follow in Jeff's championship footsteps, his strengths and weaknesses and ultimate ceiling. And of course, the UofA game is included.

3rd and 29. Wide left. Yikes. In the wake of the disappointing result of the UCLA game, it must be remembered that the season and quest for the Pac-12 South title are far from lost. Providing proper persepective on that, as well as a number of ASU topics is the great Vince Marotta, one of the most respected and well-known Valley sports personalities. In addition, Brad breaks down this week's opponent, the Washington State Cougars, and what the Sun Devils must do to get back on track.
