This fall represents a landmark moment for Sun Devil women's basketball, as Charli Turner Thorne will begin her 25th season at the helm of the program. The makeover of Sun Devil men's basketball was not limited to on the court. This offseason, when Bobby Hurley needed a new lead assistant, he was able to pluck a heralded up and comer from a perennial powerhouse. Before arriving in Tempe, Joel Justus spent the past 7 seasons at Kentucky, the most recent 5 as an assistant coach. He was a key part in the Wildcats' success, recruiting and developing players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He's now brought that pedigree to Arizona State as he looks to help elevate the Sun Devils into contenders.
