Gen 26:15 So all the wells that his father's servants had dug in the time of his father Abraham, the Philistines stopped up, filling them with earth. then Abimelek said to Isaac, "Move away from us; you have become too powerful for us." So Isaac moved away from there and encamped in the Valley of Gerar, where he settled. Isaac reopened the wells that had been dug in the time of his father  Abraham, which the Philistines had stopped up after Abraham died, and he gave then the same names his father had given them.      

When they had crossed. Elijah said to Elisha, "Tell me what can I do  for you before I am taken from you?" "Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit".

Ezekiel 37:11-14 They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; We are cut off.12 Therefore prophesy and say to them; This is what the Sovereign Lord says; My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in our own land.

 Joel 2:23 "Be glad, O people of Zion, rejoice in the LORD your God, for he has given you the autumn rains in righteousness. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before." The latter rain was identified with the last days. This rain  is a  great remainder that God reserves until the last days. The latter rain will fall, and produce abundant showers in the last days. The rain will be similar to the day of Pentecost falling upon the people in Acts.  A great revival and outpouring will come for the church before the coming of Christ.

Isaiah 6.1-8 "In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord" The leadership that the people had relied on for so long was now taken away, and they were faced with an uncertain future. It was during this time of uncertainty that God called Isaiah. When we are in this time in our life of uncertainty if we listen carefully, we can hear God calling for us to focus on him.
