In the first message of this series, Mark answers the question, "Who is Jesus?" by clearly showing how Jesus is the Messiah and Son of God, pointing to prophets and John the Baptist, to God's announcement at Jesus' baptism, and even how Satan attacks Jesus in the wilderness temptations. In this message, Mark answers the follow-up question, "Why did Jesus come?" by pointing out four central aspects of Jesus' earthly ministry: His message, His team, His authority, and His mission.

"Who Is Jesus?" has been a question asked by people for 2,000 years. It is especially relevant today, because people are more confused than ever about Jesus' identity. Mark gives us the straight-up answer through the first 13 verses of his gospel: Jesus IS the Christ, the Son of God. Join us on the beginning of our journey, walking with Jesus through Mark's Gospel.

If we let Him, God will take the good, the bad, the ugly; the things we celebrate, the things we regret, and the things we mourn—He can take it all and help us grow spiritually and prepare us to accomplish His purpose and plan for our lives.

Just as we have preferences for being right-handed or left-handed, so we have internal preferences for how we learn, relate to others, resolve conflict, plan and organize, and even how we worship and connect with God. If we are armed with good information and we work at it, we can start recognizing these personality preferences, which greatly influence how we see the world around us and interact with others. And then we need to bring our personality, with its strengths and weaknesses, under submission to Christ.

God made you with a purpose in mind, and He has blessed you with abilities and aptitudes. They just may be unexplored, undeveloped, and unused. In this message, you will discover the truth about your abilities and skills, how you can develop and put them to use for God's Kingdom.

Our hearts are the seat of our deepest commitments, loves, and passions. But our hearts have been twisted and marred by sin. This sermon helps us recognize our heart problems, trust in Jesus to give us a new heart, and how to partner with God in examining, guarding, and exploring our hearts so we can discover how best God has shaped and called us to serve His Kingdom.

This message covers the basics to get you started on the journey of discovering, developing, and deploying your gifts for God's Kingdom

The prophet Micah can help us identify the underlying problems facing our nation and God’s answer to them. When it feels like America is coming apart, what are the people of God to do? May this message remind us that Jesus is our King, our allegiance must first be to Him and His Kingdom, and that must affect how we feel, think, talk, and act as Americans.

This new sermon series is meant to help us consider how God has uniquely shaped each one of us to be who He created, saved, and is growing us to be—all for His glory, our good, and the furthering of the Gospel.

Paul says that Jesus was "under the Law to redeem those under the law." Because Jesus came, we can be set free from the Law that only condemns us, and free to fulfill Jesus' Law of Love in how we love, serve, and treat others.

In wearying times like these, how can we experience true, deep, and abiding joy? Joy is a fruit of the Spirit, but Paul reveals to us some things we can do to partner with God in cultivating this crop of joy in our lives.

The same Good News that brings a thrill of hope for the weary world also brings "peace on earth" and "goodwill to men." In this message, we discover three ways in which this Good News brings us peace and dispels our fears.

Who in your life needs to experience thrill of hope only Jesus can bring?! You are now sent out to deliver that good news of great joy which is for all people.

Jesus shows us what true Christian unity and selfless love look like—and therefore, the source of true joy. We must have His mind and attitude about humility, selfless service, and love if we are to do what Jesus did.

We can’t reach our neighbors and the nations, we can’t fulfill God’s mission, unless we follow Jesus' example and get Involved! In Matthew 4-9, we discover how to get involved in our world for the sake of the Kingdom of God.

What kinds of things did Jesus pray for His followers? That can give us some clues as to what we should prioritize in our prayers for one another. In John 17, Jesus sets an example for us in praying for one another as we go on mission into the world to make disciples.

Here Jesus has given us a pattern to follow as a church family. Just as Jesus invested in His disciples, He expects us to invest in one another as a church family so we can together carry out His Kingdom purposes.

We don't have to wonder "What Would Jesus Do?" because the Gospels tell us what Jesus DID do. In this sermon series, we'll answer the question, "What Did Jesus Do?" to help us learn how to live today. In this first message, Pastor David uses two passages from Luke’s gospel to help us look at the kinds of people Jesus invited into the Kingdom of God. These are the same kinds of people He expects us to invite as well.

In Mark’s account of the first Lord’s Supper, we discover how Jesus prepared a table before us—a table unlike any other, one that came at the cost of His life and prepares us to sit at His heavenly table.

We have journeyed with David from green pastures and still waters, down right paths, through dark valleys, past gathered enemies, to a banquet table filled with honor and abundance. And here at the end, as we approach the Father’s palace, we can say with confidence that whatever may come in life, we can be assured that goodness and mercy will always be in the picture.
