We were saved by grace, given the free righteousness of Christ. Then someone preached a different gospel to us - the gospel of works. (Which is no gospel at all!)

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

The importance of unity within the Body of Christ and the humility required by everyone involved if we are ever going to experience it.

Without humility there can be no unity.

Having looked at “new men”, and a new “society”; Paul now turns his attention to new standards that will define this new order.
