The film also premiered at the Dallas International Film Festival and continued its run at New York Cinefest. David’s films often explore themes of identity, paradox, and disillusionment, as seen in the “The Cocoon.” In the short film, he tells the story of a man who inadvertently creates more of a mess as he tries to clean his room. David wrote, directed, and produced this animated short film, which is his first animation directorial, in association with Confidential Creative.
