Fr. Steve was invited to give a talk to a large mens group that meets every Tuesday morning at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs in Beverly Hills.  He spoke on the Blessed Virgin Mary and her role as intercessor.

Give Thanks to the Lord, for His Love endures forever!  

Fr. Steve offered a votive Mass for Chastity for the college aged and young adult men of St. John Fisher. Dozens of brothers gathered to pray together for themselves and others in this broken overly sexulized world.   Sacrifice Sacramentals Sacraments Sacntity (strength) Saints

Fr. Steve lead a pilgrimage to Lourdes, Fatima and Zaragoza.  Most of us know the stories of Lourdes and Fatima, but what is the story of Zaragoza?--do we know that one?  Fr. Steve shares the amazing story of Our Lady of the Pillar, the Patronness of Spain, in Zaragoza.   Be encouraged!  Stay the course!  Don't give up!  Preach Jesus!

Fr. Steve and the pilgrim group were so blessed to have Mass at the Grotto where Our Blessed Mary appeared to Bernadette Souberouis. Father preached on “looking up” to Our Lady!

The wise virgins, and the second reading speak about death. Brother Steve related those readings to the privilege of being at Zaragosa Spain and praying for The Dead

Saint Anthony of Padua was actually born in Lisbon, Portugal. Today we had Holy mass at the house of his birthplace, which is now a great basilica with his relics present. Fr, Steve, preached on his life and how we must surrender our trust to God as Anthony did.

Campus Ministry at Oakland Univeristy is alive and thriving. We welcomed Retired Bishop John Quinn to give a great talk this week to the students on Confirmation.

The Saints are our allies in the battle of life to get us home to Heaven!  

Fr. Steve gave a teaching on the Saints for the Order of Christian Initation for Adults (OCIA) this week.
