Step through that veil as they now announce to the shepherds down in the fields of Bethlehem. Behold unto us born this day a Savior, which is Christ the Lord spread.

astor Ray Bentley points out how the little town of Bethlehem fits into God's plan of redemption. Bethlehem is the place where shepherds raised the sheep that would be used for sacrifice. How amazing, then, that Jesus, who is called the Lamb of God, he would sacrifice his life as the Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world.

Pastor Ray Bentley explains the Kingdom connection to Christmas. The message Jesus commissioned his disciples to teach in Luke chapter nine, verses one and two, was they were called to give the good news of the kingdom. In Matthew chapter 19, Jesus equated salvation with entering the kingdom and the gospel of Mark, the hope and comfort of the Christian hour in entering into the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven spread.

The message of the gospel is the King is coming and returning to the kingdom that he purchased, with his own body being broken in his own blood that was shed. Pastor Ray Bentley says Christmas celebrates the birth of our king and our connection to our father. You are members of a royal family, and one day the Bible says that we will rule and reign with Christ and the days of the coming kingdom spread.

Pastor Ray Bentley on the self-sacrifice of evangelism. There is something about those who really follow Jesus who so love their fathers and mothers and brothers and sisters, that when abuse and insult and ridicule is heaped upon them, they absorb it. And they say, you know what? I will take it so that you will one day change your mind about the direction you are headed and say, maybe this love is authentic.
