On the day we honor our Graduates, Andrew Floyd shares the final message from our Children's Stories sermon series: Daniel and the Lion's Den. What wa Daniel's perspective in this story? How did Daniel react when things got difficult? How did God respond to Daniel's faithfulness? How does this story point us to Jesus? Find out the answers to these questions in this sermon.

At the outset, this may seem like an odd sermon. Is Pastor Dan REALLY about to compare Moms to Jesus? Yes... Yes he IS!!! The story of Jesus calming the storm has so many parallel's in our experience with our mom. Moms do so much for us. However, even when moms falter, there' still someone who covers the gaps!

Gather around kids...Let me tell you about the time a BIG SCARY GIANT threatened God's people and a little boy went out to fight the scary giant and won...then he cut off his head! Is "David and Goliath" really a Children's story? I don't think so. Instead, it's a story about the victory that comes in our life when we trust in Jesus. Listen as Pastor Dan shares this story and challenges you to do two things: Receive Jesus as your Savior and Give your life in service to God.

The world was evil. God had decided to completely start over with his creation of mankind with one exception: Noah and his family. God told Noah to build a large boat and through that boat, God would deliver Noah, his family, and a pair of every land-dwelling animal through a worldwide flood that would destroy everything. However, God remembered Noah in that flood and God still remembers us today!

"In the beginning, God created..." with those five words. EVERYTHING starts: Creation, the Bible, the story of Mankind, the world we live in, etc... The Beauty of God's creation can still be seen today. However, what we see today pales in comparison with God's original creation because of one thing: SIN. When man sinned, the original creation of God was marred and our relationship with God was broken. In today's message, Pastor Dan helps us to see how we can recover that relationship with God and, one day, experience the beauty of God's original creation again!

Easter is the Super Bowl of the annual church calendar!! It's the most important day every year. Today, Pastor Dan looks at the result of Easter rather than exactly what happened ON that first Resurrection Sunday. This message from Romans chapter 3 helps us to connect with the GOOD NEWS of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Question for you...have YOU Heard, Received, and Shared the Good News?

On Palm Sunday each year, we celebrate the day that Jesus entered into Jerusalem in what is called the Triumphal Entry. This would begin the week that would end in the arrest of Jesus, his trial, false conviction, and crucifixion. However, before we get to this story, the scene of the Triumphal Entry has a lot to teach us. Looking at the scene itself, Pastor Dan draws out the various characters surrounding the Triumphal Entry and what they each can teach us today as the King Returns into our lives.

In the world today, there are many "versions" of the Christian message. However, there is only ONE true version! There are many false teachers out there, and this phenomenon is not new. In Timothy's day, there were also many false teachers, so Paul gives Timothy instruction on how to identify and avoid false teachers. This message is just as relevant today as it was in biblical times. Join Pastor Dan as he teaches on Staying Focused and finishes up the series through 1 Timothy.

The Bible talks about money more than almost every other subject. Obviously, God wants us to pay attention to how we treat money. In today's sermon, Pastor Dan offers some tips on how to be financially faithful to God and how to have an eternal perspective of our "stuff".

Who we are is formed by the relationships of our lives. Does the Bible speak to the issue of relationships? The answer is a resounding, "YES!" The Bible speaks to relationships both in a specific and a general way. In this message, Pastor Dan takes a LARGE section of scripture and breaks down how it instructs the church in relationships and responsibilities. Make no mistake, even though this passage of scripture is more specific in its language, there are some general principles that we can apply to all relationships in our lives.

In today's message, Pastor Dan shares about his two recent trips to the Dominican Republic and Haiti and to Miami. He presents some of his personal experience to introduce Stetson Baptist Church to future opportunities to engage with being "on mission" in their every day lives. In the Christian life, there are a number of things that can trip us up from fully following Jesus. In this message, Pastor Dan describes some of the "Pitfalls" that can cause us to fall back from realizing the fullness of satisfaction in our daily Christian walk.

God created every man and woman with the ability to lead. Whether you are a CEO, a barista, a teacher, or even a student in first grade, you were created to lead.

This Sunday's sermon did NOT go as planned. Well...it didn't go as WE had it planned. Our intention was to continue our study of 1 Timothy with a look at chapter 3 on Overseers and Deacons. That's what we did in the first service (which isn't recorded.) However, in our second service there was a GLORIOUS interruption of plans.

There are many people who are leaving the Church today. The reason many of them are leaving is their observation of "church people." In this sermon, Pastor Dan encourages us to treat others with grace because God has treated us with grace. Buckle up for "deep" sermon. We can hold on to a lot of things in life, but only ONE thing will actually hold on to US. The Apostle Paul realized this and encourages his young mentor, Timothy, to place his faith in the right place. In this sermon, Pastor Dan encourages us to spend our lives in the grip of the grace of Jesus.

God has a purpose for every person. To live life fully, one must be faithful to do what God has created them to do.

Family. We've all got one. What does the Bible say about families? How should they live together? How should they treat each other? How can we glorify God through our family?

Everyone loves getting good news. But, what if that good news could actually become bad news for us? What we do with the good news of Jesus will determine whether it is actually good news or if it will become bad news for us. Let us become like the four lepers in 2 Kings 7 who choose to accept and share the good news that they recieved.

Colossians 3:22-24
