Even if you know salvation is important, it’s very possible your understanding of it is way too small. Being saved is not just a past-tense truth — it’s the promise of change for the present, and the certainty of hope for the future.

What is faith? How is it meant to be our shield? And how do we take it up?

The armor of God makes it clear that believers are called to "stand", even in the midst of spiritual warfare. God makes our standing possible by providing for us the shoes of the gospel of peace–the only foundation that makes us ready for whatever may come our way.

Righteousness is meant to protect what’s most vital and central in our lives. But to understand righteousness biblically and embody righteousness practically there are 3 people you need to know.

We often settle for knowing more about God rather than experiencing him. We want a vibrant relationship — his goodness working in and through us, especially as an anchor for life’s most challenging seasons.

The Spirit of God working through the people of God is plan A for achieving the mission of God...and there is no plan B.

How does God work in a person’s life, and in a community’s life? He tears down, and he builds up.

Stop looking at peace as a commodity to acquire. Start looking at it as a person to know.

It’s no accident that a long section of Ephesians about unity starts off with a command to remember. Forgetful Christians do not experience true unity, and do not carry such unity into the world. We must be a remembering people...together.

The way of grace can be expressed in three words: It is finished.
