Growing up in Cambridge, Ontario, Tim Brent knew from a very young age that he wanted to be a professional hockey player.   He claims that his "do whatever it takes" mentality as the key to going pro.  Today, at age 32,  Tim is retired from a career in the NHL and finds himself in a second career of commercial real estate in North Carolina,  where he and Eva Shockey Brent call home.  As you might imagine, Tim enjoys his deer hunting.  Introduced to the sport by two captains on one of his NHL teams, Tim has enjoyed hunting all over the country.  Despite spending years on the ice and dealing night-in night-out with the adrenaline rush that comes with highly competitive professional sports, Tim says that there is nothing in this world that compares to the adrenaline rush of deer hunting.  Tim shares with us how he first met Eva Shockey, how he is preparing for fatherhood, what hunting in a warmer climate south is like for a Canadian, and tells us a heck of a deer story about a hunt on which he wasn't really supp

Mark Stukbauer lives in what is known by locals as the Ohio snow-belt. Despite this, the bucks grown big and as Mark says, "big deer are not foreign to me".  Mark has spent many years in the woods chasing whitetails as many of us have, but early on (also as many us have experienced) Mark's kill rate and buck encounter rate wasn't as great as he would have liked.  He questioned his skill and decided that scent must be the deciding factor that he was overlooking.  Mark turned to natural covers scents as an answer to his lack of success in the field. Once Mark started covering himself in local plant material such as goldenrod, apples,and acorns which he would grind up and use on the stand, Mark closed the gap he needed to kill big bucks. Dan Bayus is a dreamer. And a do'er.   He'd rather be shown than told.  Dan's theory:  Test the theory first and hyper-focus your shots. It seems Dan does this in and out of the field  and that's probably what makes him a great deer hunter and deadly archer.  Dan grew up in the land of Ohio giants and has recently relocated to Pennsylvania. Michael Waddell never planned to be on television. He was like any other kid growing up in rural town USA.  He hunted small game like every other kid.
