SouthCrest Church Sunday message, 12/8/24. We continue in our Advent series in Luke 2:1-21. Senior Pastor Matt McFadden shows us that Jesus’s birth brings us peace. It is not a worldly “peace” absent of trouble, turmoil, violence and war, but rather a peace that transcends all the cares of this world to leave us neither troubled nor afraid, because our God is an “everlasting rock.”

SouthCrest Church Sunday message, 12/1/24. We begin our Advent series on this first Sunday in Advent with Senior Pastor Matt McFadden focusing on hope. In the verses of Romans 8:18-25, 15:8-13 we find that a hope placed Christ Jesus will not disappoint.

SouthCrest Church Sunday message, 11/24/24. Grace Pastor Caleb Warren concludes our CommUNITY series in 1 Corinthians 12:4-7. These verses teach us that we are uniquely called to serve the Church from among a variety of gifts and methods of serving, and we are to find unity in that variety. It is through the uniting of our various gifts and service that the Church is empowered and made whole.

SouthCrest Church Sunday message, 11/17/24. We continue in week three of our CommUNITY series in James 4:1-10. Using these verses Senior Pastor Matt McFadden shows us how our personal sin affects our unity, and how by using the steps also found in these verses we may acknowledge the seriousness of our sin and find God’s healing grace.

SouthCrest Church Sunday message, 11/10/24. Guest Speaker Marty Young continues week two of our CommUNITY series in Ephesians 4:1-7, 4:32, 5:1-2. These verses teach us to find unity within the church by forgiving one another.

SouthCrest Church Sunday message, 11/3/24. Senior Pastor Matt McFadden opens our CommUNITY series in Psalm 133 and Ephesians 2:11-18, 4:1-3. These verses instruct that we are to be one in Christ and have unity with one another in the body of Christ. 

SouthCrest Church Sunday message, 10/27/24. Senior Pastor Matt McFadden concludes our Marriage Matters weekend in John 4:10. This verse teaches us to seek Jesus first to be fully satisfied, and only by being satisfied in Jesus can we find fulfillment in marriage.

We are called to enter into the blessing of Sabbath rest. Following the pattern established by God, each of us should rest (to worship) weekly for a day from our normal work. On what day? On the day you set by the leading of Holy Spirit.
