How to leverage your ministry in a small town.

"Mental health issues such as Depression and Anxiety have dramatically increased Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers in the past decade. Youth pastors are in a unique position to offer care themselves or to point students towards the people that can help them further. Yet, youth pastors may feel ill-prepared to recognize mental health issues or know what steps to take to help the student in their youth group. During our time together, we’ll discuss a youth pastors role for better mental health with our students, specifically responding to anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation."

A healthy culture is the most important aspect of your ministry to cultivate. Mission, vision, creativity, and community all depend on culture. In this interactive we will discuss what culture is and what specific steps we can take to cultivate it in a way that will cause your ministry to thrive. This is a great interactive for both Pastors and Volunteer Leaders!

Drugs are taking over our society and specifically our youth while most churches are woefully unprepared. I will be presenting what drugs are most popular, how those drugs are ingested and associated signs and symptoms. We will discuss what role the church has in society as it relates to the drug culture and what impact youth pastors can have in the youth drug culture.

Jesus and Diversity - Increasing Hope Across our Differences | This is about using the power of relationships to reach youth and communities that differ from us through authentic relationship and a Christlike lens. This session will explore what it means to develop a ministry that applies equity, inclusion and racial justice by increasing our awareness, knowledge, skills and Christlike advocacy for all of our youth.

Jesus gives permission to unlearn what we think we know about the Church. There are some things, however, that never change. Knowing what remains constant and what evolves is paramount to ensure we do not become successful at what, in the end, does not matter.
