Bruce Millington and Steve Palmer are back with another Sweet Spot episode, this week previewing the upcoming Scottish Open and John Deere Classic. The team review last week's action which included wins for the Australian duo, Cameron Davis and Lucas Herbert. Bruce reveals a new Sweet Spot special that will be taking place on the final day of next week's Open and Steve gives an update on his little protégé at home.

Maddy Playle is joined by Tom Collins and Graeme Rodway for a look back at the weekend's racing and to discuss the stories stealing the headlines. The trio discuss the controversial photo-finish in the opener at Sandown on Saturday with faulty equipment the reason behind a dead-heat result between Hurricane Ivor and Phoenix Star. St Mark’s Basilica won the big race of the weekend, the Coral-Eclipse, in fine style but do the panel think he's one of the best horses in Europe after that? The panel preview the upcoming week, including a mouthwatering Darley July Cup on Saturday which includes the likes of Oxted, Starman and Rohaan. Who do they like in the race?

Just four runners go to post for the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown on Saturday with John and Thady Gosden’s Mishriff heading the market. He’s performed to the highest level overseas but can he produce the goods on home soil? The panel also look at the other Saturday races on ITV including the Lancashire Oaks at Haydock Park, in which Alpinista is currently the favourite with Mystery Angel and Dubai Fountain in behind. The team also give their weekend naps. 

Jack Reeve is joined by Dan Childs and Bobbie Jackson to preview the Euro 2020 quarter-finals.  England are now favourites to win the tournament after a historic win over Germany. Italy, Spain and Belgium all feature in this round, which of them should be most feared?  As well as that, the panel provide their strongest bet of the round as well as a tip for the top scorer market where Cristiano Ronaldo tops the market.  18+ BeGambleAware

The panel give their opinion on his return and what effects it may have. Charlie Appleby landed his second Derby of the year as Hurricane Lane got up late to defeat Lone Eagle by a neck in the Irish equivalent. What went wrong for hot favourite High Definition? Are Aidan O'Brien's horses underperforming this season? The panel dissect all the big talking points from Irish Derby day at the Curragh. Next up on the big-race schedule is the Coral-Eclipse and Maddy and co give their early thoughts on Sandown

David Jennings is joined by Keith Melrose and Tom Collins to preview the weekend's best ITV Racing action including the Irish Derby. High Definition is the favourite for the 2021 Irish Derby but there is plenty of talent in behind including the likes of Mac Swiney, who bids to replicate his Irish 2,000 Guineas victory for Jim Bolger at the same track. Do our panel think the Aidan O'Brien-trained favourite is rock-solid or have they picked out a runner at a bigger price? The panel also look at the other Saturday races on ITV including the Northumberland Plate, in which Trueshan could go off favourite. Away from the British and Irish action, American racing expert Tom likes the look of two horses running in the States this weekend, while he and DJ have different views on Santa Barbara, who runs in the Pretty Polly Stakes on Sunday. The team also give their weekend naps.

Jack Reeve is joined by Joe Casey and Aidan Perkins to take a look at the Euro 2020 round of 16.  England have a huge game to play as they welcome Germany to Wembley while Wales will go into the knockout stages with real confidence.  As well as that, the panel discuss who they think will now go on and win the tournament. The team look back at all the big talking points including the Commonwealth Cup where Campanelle was awarded the race after a stewards' inquiry demoted Dragon Symbol who was first past the post. Do the panel think the right decision was made? Palace Pier won the Queen Anne Stakes on Tuesday but would he suit a step up in trip? And would he beat Poetic Flare, who was an impressive winner of the St. James's Palace Stakes, in the Sussex Stakes? Subjectivist won the Gold Cup for trainer Mark Johnston on the Thursday and the panel discuss his performance along with Stradivarius who could only manage fourth. Along with all the Royal Ascot discussion, the guys give their opinions on the proposal to extend the Cheltenham Festival to five days and each give a horse to watch out for this week.

Friday’s racing was put at risk due to heavy rainfall so the team make sure to assess the credentials of all runners form on softer ground. The Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes looks an interesting battle but G-Rod thinks he’s found the best bet of the meeting and Keith Melrose is in agreement. After picking out their fancies for each race at Royal Ascot they finish off with their NAPs of the day.

DJ and Graeme have polar opposite views for the Queen Mother's Cup Handicap at York, but who will have the last laugh?  The Pavers Foundation Catherine Memorial Sprint Handicap looks like a tricky contest on paper, but DJ thinks he might just have it sussed with a confident 6-1 selection.  Turning their attention to Sandown, the team previews the Scurry Stakes, where DJ is not shy to mention his 11-1 winning tip in this race four years ago with none other than Battaash.  With Royal Ascot just around the corner, the panel each give their ‘banker’ of the festival as well as a big-priced outsider to look out for.

Maddy Playle, Lee Mottershead and Tom Collins look back on a Classic weekend at Epsom where there was certainly no shortage of quality.  The team breakdown Pyledriver’s memorable win in Friday’s Coronation Cup for William Muir and Chris Grassick, but the superb ride by Martin Dwyer hasn’t gone under the radar.  Snowfall could hardly have won the Cazoo Oaks more impressively, receiving the same Racing Post Rating as Enable achieved in the race four years ago, but how do the panel really rate that performance? Adam Kirby produced a stellar ride on Adayar to win the Cazoo Derby, having picked up the mount after connections of John Leeper switched riders for Frankie Dettori just days before. Is Adayar a St Leger winner in waiting? The team have a think about what could be next for the Godolphin colt. Looking ahead, the team share their best bets for not only this week but Royal Ascot as well!
