Most likely, you only learned from people who mattered to you, and had your best interests in mind, and Pastor Jerry explains doing the same- Demonstrating grace, respecting values, and meeting people where they're at.

Why be afraid if the only One worth fearing loves you? Often, it's ultimately due to a wrong idea of justice. We sometimes tend to put our wrong idea of justice on God-"If God is truly just, people will get what they deserve." If that's the case, what did Job do? God is more interested in judging the problem, not the person!

A fundamental blindness came over man. Sin began as we began to misread the intentions of God. Knowing this, we can realize that salvation is when God shatters our illusions (the lies) and shows us the truth.

Andre Rabe brings an excellent word clarifying the Truth of the Gospel and how God uses each one of us to convey that truth. When you show love to someone, it is a demonstration of God being "Himself" in and through you.

When Jesus came to Earth, the Bible says in Hebrews that He was "made like us in every way." That means that, at some point or another, Jesus has felt everything we have! Realizing this, we could say that perhaps we've misunderstood Habakkuk 1:13. What if it's saying that, yes, God is too pure to look at sin, what if it means He's too pure to look at it without doing something about it?

Rod Williams teaches that the Gospel is not the failure of some men failing to respond, it is the success of the cross to reconcile all men to Him. So often we have been preaching 'The Failure of Man' as if it was the Good News. There is no Good News until the righteousness of Christ is revealed and the fact that it is available to all men. That's how we have genuine conversions and faith arises.

In Genesis 1, God declares every created thing is good, but mankind was very good. God said, "Do not eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil," because He desired that mankind see the inherent good in created things as He does. Unfortunately, Man believed a lie about themselves and God. When God removed them from the garden, He did it to protect them from becoming unredeemable from eating from the Tree of Eternal Life, not to punish!

Many people confuse God with the angry stepfather who is 'kind' enough to beat our older brother Jesus instead of us; that God's wrath was on Jesus. They believe God is angry and out to destroy. That may be partially true, but as Pastor Jerry points out, we have the reasons all wrong! His wrath has never been directed at us; only that which intends to harm us!

What paradigms do you live from: Son or Orphan mindset? Being subject to the Father’s mission is to receive love and give it away. John 8:38 says, “But you are following the example of your father.” Does He focus more on truth or love? How about us? A revival of love has begun! Will you receive it?

God created male and female to properly represent Himself. If you oppress women, you miss half the revelation of God. In first century Israel, no people groups were more oppressed than women were. Yet Jesus gave women deep revelation on resurrection, worship, and truths, in Scripture.

It’s tough to recognize an answer before you’ve asked the question… Samuel answered Saul’s questions, which opened him up to declarations about his future. The way we respond to instruction opens up options. If you don’t have it in your heart before an opportunity, you won’t recognize opportunity.

Reconciliation is not about punishment. It's about God giving us understanding of Him. Sin is not breaking the law- that's the fruit of it. Reconciliation is more than legal law and punishment- it's about The Father wanting to know and be known! Your Father in heaven cannot bear for you to be stuck not knowing how He feels for you, so He sent His Son.

Did God kill His innocent Son, and then require Us to trust Him? The Father and Son are not Good Cop vs. Bad Cop- it's One God who is for us! The cross is not about The Father's rejection of Jesus, but ours. Although not all roads lead to Jesus, Jesus will travel down any road to interact with you. Be reconciled back to God because He has reconciled Himself back to you.

Will our devotion intensify when blessing increases? God demonstrates His confidence in His ability To bring us to fulfill our created purpose. Fear will redirect trust, value, and devotion. Fear effects worship. Courage and passion cause people to see truth. God's intent is to raise up a people who will increase their devotion to the Lord in blessing.

A Sacrifice of Worship is worshipping when you don't feel like it. King David said, "Far be it from me that I would offer God something that cost me nothing." If your life is not worship, why sing like it is? Let us not reduce worship to what we do when the music starts.
