Haunted Alaska As America's "Last Frontier", Alaska can be stunningly beautiful in one moment and terrifyingly inhospitable in the next. The risks and riches that it presents have drawn people to this land for thousands of years, and for many it would be the last place that they would see on this side of the veil. For some, Alaska called to them as their natural home; a place where they could live out their lives as they chose, including their final days. For others, Alaska claimed them whether they were ready for it or not... The numbing cold of the long, dark winter. The perils of mining in the mineral rich mountains. The miles of empty wilderness where one can just disappear. These are just a few of the ways that the otherwise picturesque landscape can swallow a person, leaving only their soul to linger on and haunt the generations that come thereafter... It's the stories of these spirits that we will share tonight, and how they came to rest in this great land.

Spirits of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Tucked away in a beautiful corner of Canada's west coast is the City of Victoria. Also aptly known as "The Garden City", this area has been drawing people for thousands of years. From the First Nations, to the Hudson's Bay Company, to the gold rush, to the Edwardian Era building boom that has left the city with much of its most iconic architecture, the modern city is a major tourism hub with something for almost everyone. That said, every city with a shiny exterior will also cast some shadows, and having drawn so many people to its shores, it's little wonder that some of the spirits of generations past are lingering on today.
