  • 145: How to Know Who You Really Are

    13/06/2023 Duration: 14min

If you want to have the results of being a published author, you have to start believing you are one. I know that sounds counterintuitive, but it is true. The Bible give us the progression of moving from BEING to DOING to HAVING. We see it when God told Adam and Eve to BE FRUITFUL and INCREASE, and they would HAVE DOMINION, as a result. So how can you believe you are an author before it happens? Return to the promise that we are made in God’s image. He has certain characteristics, and if we are made in His image, then that means that we are capable of developing and succeeding in those characteristics, as well. He will empower us to do so. Make sure you understand the “cloth” you were cut from if you want to have different results that you have now. Be who you really are so you can do what you were meant to do. And then you will have what you want to have. Don’t miss your chance to move forward as an author. Get your ticket for the next Bless Your Book Workshop here. >> www.blessyourboo

  • 144: How to Stop Worrying

    06/06/2023 Duration: 05min

Everyone worries from time to time. So what do we do with this verse? The Bible says: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT). The other day, I was praying, and God gave me a new perspective on worry. I have been thinking of it as an adjective, when really, it is a verb. Distinguishing between the two makes all the difference. It is possible to live without worrying.
