Incarnation: Uniting God and Humanity
14/05/2023 Duration: 36minToday's message is out of Exodus 24-26, and it speaks to us about the theme of relationship. In these passages, we see how the Lord renewed His covenant with the people of Israel and how He instructed them to renew their commitment to Him through the construction of the tabernacle. God was building in Israel a physical picture of what it would look like to live with him. For us today, through Christ, He is building a new dwelling place in which His Spirit dwells within us individually as believers and together as a church. Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of this new building!Join us in person each Sunday at 10:00 am at 2458 St Frances Drive. This passage is a beautiful picture of the people of God, who have been redeemed and made holy through the blood of the Lamb.In this passage, we see a great multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They cry out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"As we study this passage, we will see how it reveals the heart of discipleship. Where are Disciples Made...On the Journey
19/03/2023 Duration: 45minWelcome to our livestream! In 1 Peter 2, Peter describes the church as a spiritual house, with Christ as the cornerstone and believers as living stones. He says that we are being built up into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. From this, we can see that discipleship happens within the context of the church community. We are not meant to grow in isolation, but rather as a part of a larger spiritual family. Through our interactions with one another and our joint commitment to following Christ, we can be built up into a strong and holy community of believers. As we seek to grow as disciples ourselves, let's remember the importance of being a part of a larger church community and supporting one another in our journey of faith.Whether you're new to the Bible or a seasoned reader, this livestream is for you.
