Today marks the end of our series "What Binds Us Together". This series has taken us through the membership covenant to remind us all about why the local church is so vital. This week we'll remind ourselves that It's All About His Grace. The covenant ends with this phrase: May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen. What better way to anchor ourselves in the truth of God's Word and the beauty of the local church than by reminding ourselves of the fact that without God's grace, it's all for naught. It's hard to believe, but we're almost to the end of our series, "What Binds Us Together". This week we'll talk about the time when you might need to find a new church home one day. Moving is hard to do, and even more so when you love your church home! But God calls us to stay connected with the local church, so if you find yourself in a new location we want you to plug in to a new church. This doesn't mean we don't love you or grieve that you are moving on! We are called to live holy lives because of our commitment as Christ-followers. To that end, we say no to sin so that we can thrive in our faith. We don't do this under our own strength, but rather by God's help.

We will rejoice at each other’s happiness and endeavor with tenderness and sympathy to bear each other’s burdens and sorrows. (Rom 12:15; Gal 6:2)How do we laugh and cry together as a church? This message is part of the series on our membership covenant at Calvary Burlington.

Our mission as a church must demonstrate a passion and commitment to the gospel - for ourselves and our church. Our Member Covenant talks about raising our families to love and serve the Lord, but this is not just for parents - it's for all believers!

This Sunday we continue with the series on the Membership Covenant with a message called, Making Our Meeting Together a Priority. Our covenant says, "We will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, nor neglect to pray for ourselves and others" and dovetails quite beautifully with last week's message to walk together in love and encourage one another. God wants us in community because that is where we grow and where we can help each other grow. We'll journey through the fundamental steps of Christian life—faith, baptism, and daily reliance on God's help. This series isn't just for those who've made a public profession of faith; it's for anyone seeking to understand the essence of our connection with God and the beauty of walking in unity.
