Daughters, Mothers, and Grandmothers… All ladies are invited to the Fall Women’s Gathering. They will be sharing a timely message called Hope in the Darkness, taken from John 8:12Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.'This is a great opportunity for all women of all ages to connect with one another in encouragement, testimony, and fellowship, as we share the great message of hope we have in Jesus, even in the darkest valleys.

As women, we are often in a battle for control. We hear “let go and let God” but find it is easier said than done! How can we “let go” when we are not confident in the One to whom we are giving our concerns, desires, future, and loved ones? In this 3-week study on the sovereignty of God, we will be encouraged to relinquish our plans and expectations, knowing that we can be confident in His control, rest in His sovereignty, and find peace in His plan.

Studying the attributes of God will provide understanding and knowledge into the character and perfection of God. In this study, we will explore the Scriptures as they relate to God's attributes. As we study, we will conclude as David did in 1 Chronicles 17:20, "O Lord, there is none like You."

Janie has been a pastor's wife for over 35 years and has raised five daughters. She is an international speaker, teacher, and former Dean of Women at a Bible College in California. With her wit and passion for God's Word, she loves to share with others the sustaining power of God's grace through disappointments, heartache and tragedy.
