The demons knew about Paul and the they knew about Jesus. Are you living in such a way that the enemy knows who you are?

It is easier to acknowledge the sin of others than it is our own. Yet in the midst of our hypocrisy our loving God is calling us to turn to him.

Regardless of the appearance of the outside, through Matthew 23 we see a window into our hearts and catch a glimpse of what is on the inside.

Do the people who know you best see you as a person of integrity, compassion, mercy? Do they want the Jesus they see reflected in your life?

Jesus reserved his strongest words for people who said one thing but did another. All of us are susceptible to hypocrisy.

We do not have the ability within ourselves to make the changes God requires. It’s only when we put our trust in Jesus that we experience the abundant life God desires for us.

God will go to any length to make sure we know we are never alone in our suffering, in our pain, in our darkness. He is always with us.

In the simple phrase “I’m thirsty,”  Jesus demonstrates from the cross that he relates to our own weaknesses.

People matter to God so much that he reaches out even in the last moments of a life.

After Jesus was mocked, beaten, whipped, stripped, and  nailed to a cross, he asked God to forgive those who hurt him. How could he do that?

Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve. He wants his followers to serve others as well.

Hopefully at some point we all come to the realization that life is not all about us - but that re are blessed to be a blessing
