Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen  Galatians 1:3-5

Abraham was asked of God the seemingly impossible: sacrifice the son whom he loves. Scripture doesn't sugar coat the realities of how difficult of a decision this was, nor how much his faith was tested. And yet, God showed himself faithful and provided a substitute. Often times, the most shocking thing about the scriptures is not the perfection of the major characters, but the imperfections. God reveals himself through unbelievers to those who have faith, and shows himself to be uniquely holy and unquestionably gracious. Preached by Brian Habig.

What do we do with life when the space between what is promised and what seems possible is in conflict?
