It is that time of year when there is a lot of building going on.  As you drive through communitutues, you hear the sound of saws and hammers as new house and businesses are being built.In this business of living, all of us try like crazy to build our lives on something.  We look for stability, for foundation, and some place we can build and grow where we find sufficient depth and strength, a real confidence.  In 1 Peter 2:4-10, Peter plainly says Christ Jesus is our cornerstone for living!

Each of us has the opportunity to live the difference Christ has made in our lives.  In week two of the Live Out Loud series, we continue in 1 Peter.  The scriptures point to ways we can cultivate holy cravings.  Our new birth in Christ leads us to living holy!1 Peter 1:13-25, 1 Peter 2:1-3, Psalm 34:8

Easter is all about God's free gift of grace.  This morning it's my aim to help you experience the sacred place of grace, God's saving grace!1 Corinthians 15:1-10,17, Isaiah 53:11, Psalm 16:10, Ephesians 2:8-10

What is your response when someone says to you, "I have some good news and I have some bad news.  Which would you like first?"  In this message, we have to deal with both kinds of news.  We'll start with the bad and then finish with the good.  The bad news; we're all guilty.  But the good news is that God does provide His grace!Romans 3, Romans 5, Isaiah 53:4-6

We often ask big questions in the face of suffering.  Whi is this happening to me or someone sle?  Why right now?  What did I do wrong?  What am I supposed to learn?  What was God trying to accomplish?  Has God forgotten me?  Does God even care?  Will things ever really get back to normal?The Apostle Paul found himself in such a scenario.  In 2 Corinthians 12, Paul explains how he handled extreme suffering.

Amazing Grace.  You've probably sung the song, maybe at church, maybe at a funeral, or you've heard it on bagpipes to mark some ceremonious moment.  Growing up, I had a great aunt named Grace.  She was so old and such delightful fun to be around, we chuckled and dubbed her truly "amazing Grace." Perhaps you've asked someone to "say grace" over a meal, or you've watched an especially graceful performance by an athlete.  Grace is one of those words that gets thrown around so often.  And yet it seems at many points in our lives, we don't fully grasp it's meaning, or truly appreciate and experience grace to the fullest, as God profoundly intended for us. So, starting this Sunday (March 4th) and leading up to Easter Sunday (April 8th this year), we are going to work at dissecting grace.-- Pletch

In the game of golf, a mulligan is a chance for a do-over.  It is a chance to take another shot.  We'll see in Joshua 8 that God provides us with real-life mulligans.

In this message, it is my goal to totally debunk what you think success is.  We pick up the Israelites' journey and amazing entrance into the Promised Land at the end of Joshua 5.  As we continue into Joshua 6, we'll find some sure-fire ways to fail - and hopefully be able to turn them around into Bold Successes in our lives.

Renewal is a regular and necessary part of life.  Cell phone batteries, gas for our automobiles, food and sleep for our bodies - they're all forms of renewal.How about spiritually?  What do you do when you realize your soul is drained; when you sense that all is "not right" with you and God?Today we'll look in Joshua 5:2-12 and see a rather brash discussion of the medical and anatomical procedure of circumcision.  What is crucial in this story is to understand why this took place, and what meaning such an ancient account has for our lives today.

Many of us have huge passions for things - like our sports teams for example (Go Eagles!)  But what if you could ask God what He is passionate about?  Speaking to the Pharisees one day, Jesus did exactly that.  Check out this message and Jesusâ?? words in Matthew 22:37-39; then boldly dare to reignite your passion!

In our hearts and souls, God calls us to search for Him - to search for Him all the time - and in a very special way, at Christmas.  We find that an honest heart-felt, passionate search can lead to remarkable discovery and great joy!  Consider the wise men's journey in Matthew 2:1-20 and then ponder some questions in your heart this Christmas season.
