Jennifer Hill asks Dr. John Rubinow how he went from practicing as a physician to transitioning into a career as a voiceover actor. John discusses some of the obstacles he faced in his career as a doctor and shared how he realized he was not on his life path. John emphasizes the importance of finding a career that brings you joy and happiness. Dr. John Rubinow went to Tufts University and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He proceeded to get his MD and practice as a doctor for 10 years before relocating to Los Angeles and landing his first acting job. Dr. John Rubinow has acted in both film and television, and has appeared on shows such as Bay Watch and General Hospital. He eventually transitioned into voiceover acting, and John has now been a working voiceover actor for over 25 years.
