You Can't Sit With Us

It's Prom 2019, and we're exploring the loss of virginity with 1999's American Pie and 2008's Blockers! Both films tread similar ground, yet both are firmly planted in their time period to provide quite the interesting comparisons. Prepare for some long tangents on this one! Also, being Pride month and all, we dived deep into modern gay dating and the use of the dreaded apps.  NOTE: This episode was recorded almost 4 weeks ago before we left town for a film shoot, so any current events discussed in society and our lives is not greatly outdated. These two subversive comedies were dead on arrival in theaters, but deservedly earned their cult classic statuses over the years, mostly due to being embraced by the Queer Community. We dive into why they're both worth you rediscovering, and why Drop Dead Gorgeous is a fucking MASTERPIECE.
