Hurricane Harvey survivor and sick ass rapper, Ocho Sanchez AKA #elpapadeloshoodcorridos joins me (via ghetto rig speaker phone) to talk about wearing cowboy boots to elementary school, attending Silva Health Magnet High School, being El Papa De Los Hood Corridos, getting his master’s degree and his new album “Hood Corridos Volume 3”. He tells us about his Hurricane Harvey adventures including finding plenty of tortillas at the store after bread ran out, running out of food and toilet paper, dealing with food rationing and more. He blesses us with some ill a cappellas. Also, I peed myself a little bit.

Emcee and pecan farmer Anson “Alphabet 11” Archer talks about his background, farmer life and his new album “Pieces”. I go on a Mayweather/McGregor related rant. Dee shares her thoughts regarding turning a blind eye to the egregious offenses of certain celebrities. We discuss Hurricane Harvey related events and the homie spits the ill a cappellas. Dee recaps recent shows she attended such Shakewell/Ramirez/Germ, Aaron Cohen and Gavlyn. I break down UFC 214 – Jones vs Cormier. We answer listener questions like “What keeps the road interesting for you?”, “What do you think about overrated artists such as Kendrick Lamar?” and “Why don’t you do a podcast from one of my Tuesday shows???”. Dee also tells us about her stint on the high school wrestling team (lol).

Dee, Venus and I recap June and July goings-on such as my reaction to the passing of the legendary Prodigy, the R.A. The Rugged Man show controversy, my birthday shenanigans, grocery store drama, and “adventures in customer service”. Venus figures out what “clouttt” is. Recording artist, A. Billi Free joins me to talk about her childhood in Chicago, her influences, the transdimensional world of Akela Flats (NM), her many talents, “bum fights” and pro-salad raps. Her cohort and beatsmith, Latenight Loki, discusses his production style, his upcoming project with Billi and skate park bullies. Also, I nearly experience a cardiac event.

My good friend, Jessica recounts her many adventures and experiences abroad including visiting Europe as a teen, working and living by the beach in Italy, watching Maceo Plex play in Venice on New Year’s Eve 2016, dealing with “aggressive” people in Morocco, Japanese culture and going to Dublin, Ireland to see Disclosure. She talks about buying a house at 22, helping run her father’s company, writing for a local publication and writing manuals for “war vehicles”. We also guzzle bomb wine called Menage a Trois on episode 69, no less.

Artist/clothing designer/entrepreneur, Tre talks about growing up in Ghana, selling t-shirts that he painted on at the age of ten, coming to America (rimshot), the origins of and meaning behind the name Death By Society, his love of skating and meeting one of his favorite rap groups, Suicideboys. We discuss what he loves about El Paso and the time he killed an aggressive cobra at the age of seven. We address multiple Facebook friend suggested topics including me being “cold”.
