Synopsis
Shaykh Abdul Nasir Jangda was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and at the age of 10 began the road to knowledge by moving to Karachi, Pakistan, and memorizing the entire Quran in less than one year.After graduating from High School, he continued his studies abroad at the renowned Jamia Binoria and graduated from its demanding seven year program in 2002 at the top of his class with numerous licenses to teach in various Islamic Sciences.He has served as an instructor and curriculum advisor to various Islamic schools and Islamic studies programs including Bayyinah Institute and the Qalam Seminary. His light-hearted nature and southern warmth make him one of the most sought-after speakers on the international scene.

Wa ilayhi nushoor – verse 15 (And only to Him is the resurrection) a connector to verse 16. Allah has created all the magnificent elements arounds us. And humbled the earth to us and allowed us to benefit us. The earth and its blessings are completely subservient to you, but one should never forget that Allah will hold you accountable for all that you do. These verses refer to Allah (swt) with respect “The one who is in the heavens” Yahsif – Khasafa – 1. suppress or envelope something OR 2. Humiliating word, harsh can relate to lunar eclipse (khasafal qamar) Khasaf Al Ard – refers to the earth sucking something in (like quicksand) – punishment from Allah. Tone: One of strong warning reminding people of their purpose and that their actions have consequences. General Overview: Revealed during the early Makkan period where the focus was on warning the people to acknowledge Allah. Focus is on teaching all to reflect on Allah’s creation. Allah created the system of life and death to test those of us who are best in deeds. 67:1 Tabarak - comes from the root word ‘baraka’ but does not just mean blessing. Tabarak means blessing which is increasing, long-lasting and enduring. Allah is the source of this lasting blessing. Allathee – who: Allah does not refer to himself directly because the word ‘allathee’ is used to make the reader or listener ponder and reflect over ‘who’ it is that is the owner.
