After a week off due to some technical issues, BAMS is back! We are rolling a bit early to accomodate everyone's schedule, but its still going to be 2 hours of BAMS craziness! We'll be joined by basketball commentator Luke Robinson to get his thoughts on the Tide and Saraland head football coach Jeff Kelly to talk about his upcoming year. In an effort to stay warm, BAMS will welcome Clay Chalkville football coach Jerry Hood to the program at 7:30 to talk about his team, and we will also welcome Tom Canterbury, play-by-play man for the Tide's softball team, at 8:30 to give us an update on how that season is progressing. There is no break from football, and BAMS appreciates every second of it. There is always something going on that the Crimson Tide football team is heavily involved in. This week, numerous former Tide players will showcase their talents in Indianapolis for numerous NFL franchises. The Combine is only one part of the pre-draft process, but it is an important one. We'll break down what to expect, as well as what has already happened with Jimmy Stein and Marq Burnett on the show this evening. There's a small dead period for football. Signing Day is done, and spring practice hasn't started yet. BAMS suffers from no such dead period woes, though. Recruiting is coming down to the wire, and BAMS is all over the visitors, and potential flips. Time for another episode of BAMS! Football is never not happening, so we'll be talking a bit of Senior Bowl, as well as recruits and the latest on Lane Kiffin. BAMS also has some basketball to discuss, particularly the Alabama/Arkansas game that will be ending as BAMS begins. We will also be welcoming the Frozen Tide's coach Mike Quinneville to the broadcast to tell us about the Tide's recent win over the Auburn Tigers on the ice. Finally, we will be joined by Glenn Davis, head coach of Alabama signee Jonathan Taylor to give us a preview of what Tide fans can expect from the young man on the grid iron. BAMS had to move thanks to some schedule conflicts, but we'll still be bringing the same Crimson Tide coverage that has been our hallmark for years. It has been a busy week at the Capstone with three players declaring for the NFL draft, as well as several others opting to return. On top of that, there will be at least two new faces on the Alabama coaching staff following the departure of Kevin Steele and Lance Thompson. The two of us have been reading transcripts, talking up a storm, and then writing a tornado of Tide coverage over the past week. The euphoria that comes with winning the Iron Bowl has another 360 days to go for fans, but for the members of the 2014 Crimson Tide, they have to prepare for a battle with the Missouri Tigers. Luckily for BAMS, we can not only bask in Iron Bowl glory, but can also break down the Tide's next test. We will welcome William "Redfish" Barger to the program at 8:15 this evening.
