  • BAMS cackles at the Cam/Hootie cacophony

    24/06/2016 Duration: 02h03min

There has been a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of college football fans have cried out in angst, and were silenced thanks to the District Attorney in Ouachita parish. Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones will not be facing charges stemming from a recent arrest, and the Bama Nation has heaved a sigh of relief. The rest of the country is howling about the Red Elephant Club, Alabama Mafia, Nick Saban's Cabal, or other such hilarity as to the reason for this turn of events. For us at BAMS, we can laugh at the keyboard warriors who suddenly possess decades of legal experience, as well as a complex understanding of everything that went on the case, so we'll be spending a significant portion of the show guffawing. When we aren't doing that, we'll be joined by Jim Adams from Montgomery Catholic high who recently worked the Bama OL/DL camp, as well as Jimmy Stein to discuss more recruiting news as the Tide continue to spin toward a meeting with USC. The action kicks off at 7 with Drew DeArmond, William "Redf

Does Alabama keep all of them? Rodney Orr and Redfish will let us know their thoughts on them. Also, since Jamar King had a technical issue last week, we'll have some audio from him. The action kicks off at 7 with Drew DeArmond & Thomas Watts. Be there or be Auburn.

  • BAMS welcomes John Garcia to talk Bama

    10/06/2016 Duration: 02h08min

Summer heat has ratcheted up in Alabama. While everyone is basking in the heat, and drinking tea by the gallon to cope, BAMS has been busy putting together a solid show. Redfish is on-deck as a permanent part of the show. Couple him with John Garcia Jr. to talk recruiting in the second hour, as well as some excellent pre-recorded comments from Bama softball's Haylie McCleney and we've got a heckuva two hours coming for our listeners. The action starts at 7 with Drew DeArmond and Thomas Watts. Be there or be Auburn.

  • BAMS joins in on the Saban/Harbaugh snark

    02/06/2016 Duration: 02h02min

Is it football season yet? Obviously not, seeing as Jim Harbaugh engaged in a bit of snark directed at Nick Saban regarding satellite camps. We'll be talking about that, as well as other topics that are coming out of SEC meetings this week in Destin. Mitch Gaspard decided to step down as the head of the Bama baseball team, and Roger Myers will join us to talk about his replacement. Oh, and Drew gets the pulpit to laugh at the fools on Twitter who yowled about Gaspard deserving another year. The action starts at 7 with Drew DeArmond, Cary Clark & Thomas Watts. Be there or be Auburn.

  • BAMS talks postseason softball with Tom Canterbury, and football with Fish!

    27/05/2016 Duration: 02h00s

Redfish will be around to give us his take on all of that. The action starts at 7 with Drew DeArmond, Cary Clark & Thomas Watts. Be there or be Auburn.

  • BAMS grouses about Cam Robinson with Jimmy Stein

    20/05/2016 Duration: 02h00s

The phrase "no news is good news" generally applies to sports during the offseason, and the unfortunate arrests of Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones in Louisiana were the latest in a string of facepalm moments from the Bama Nation. Sure, its a headache, but s the "team taking a step a back" or other fiddle-faddle that many so desperately want outside of Tuscaloosa? Heck no.
