What does Paul mean when he penned the phrase, "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure"? Also, what was Paul getting at when he invited and challenged those in Philippi to, "shine like stars in the world"?

In this message, Pastor Owen Barrow dives more deeply into the interconnected themes of unity, integrity, and humility found in Paul's letter to the church of Philippi. Bonus material: Pastor Owen gives sage advice on how to achieve victory in the game of Risk, as well as pick-up basketball. Happy Father's Day!

Paul, in his letter to the Philippians, challenges and invites his readers to, "live your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ". What does this mean? What does this look like? Listen in as Pastor Owen offers some insight into this powerful verse. A few questions to consider this week: 1) What do you believe is true about the Good News (Gospel) that Jesus announced? 2) Do you live your life as if what you believe is true, is true? 3) What needs to change to bring any differences into balance?

God desires to know us and has done everything in His power for us to be in a relationship with Himself. What, then, must we do to receive this love and movement towards us? What is our response?

The Bible is not a novel, but it does contain the world's greatest story.

Is Christianity too exclusive? Some versions are​ too narrow. However, rightly understood, we preach a faith that removes all barriers in order that all would be saved. Not the question: Does God want me or not? The question is, “Do you want God?”
