Last year Andrew Taylor ate nothing but potatoes. The man known as "Spud Fit" for his commitment to only eating potatoes told Jodie & Soda he's shed more than 50 kilograms and the experiment has helped him deal with his food addiction and depression. It was an extreme diet that at first was criticised. Some said it was an unhealthy approach to weight loss, others believed there was no way he'd last 12 months, but almost one year on, he has proved you can survive on nothing but potatoes. Adelaide forward Tom Lynch will have concussion test on Friday ahead of AFL clash with Melbourne but he told Jodie & Soda he's confident he will pass and play this weekend. "I'm feeling pretty good at the moment and passed all the tests so far.... I'm pretty confident I will play on the weekend..." Lynch did confess though the initial concussion test wasn't looking hopeful after Lynch was tackled to the ground by North forward Jarrad Waite in the second quarter at Blundstone Arena and was forced out of the game. "Straight away at half time I went down to the rooms and you do a series of word associations and numbers and at the end of it I was unable to remember anything... but as you go on through the week I started to quickly do alright in those test so I'm progressing really well"

Port Adelaide president David Koch hits back against critics of his club's clash against Gold Coast in China. Kochie joined Jodie & Soda before he got on to his flight to Shanghai and told them this match in China is bringing money into AFL which creates a new range of exciting possibilities... Port Adelaide Football Club will leave for China in two waves on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of an AFL match against the Gold Coast Suns in Shanghai. Port Adelaide Football Club's head of high performance Darren Burgess told Jodie & Soda they won't be letting players eat food outside of the hotel after an incident with the Socceroos in the 2012 Olympics. "We lost two players on the morning of a pretty important international...do it can get pretty dangerous but we think we have it pretty covered." "Nah he called me to give me a heads up he's a good guy"

Dave 'Hughesy' Hughes and Grant Denyer have had an ongoing feud ever since Denyer impersonated Hughesy on his show Family Feud but it didn't hold Hughesy in returning the favour. Hughesy then decided to have a crack at Denyer at the 2017 Logies but told Jodie & Soda he tweeted him before the show just to make sure he was alright with the joke going to air! "Years ago we worked on a telethon with Lincoln Lewis and Grant Denyer said this person will give an extra $200 if you take your shirt off" "Then Grant said Hughesy I'll give you a $100,000 if you leave your shirt on...and that's where it started"

Debate has raged this week whether you would be able to tell if a package containing headphones was the right weight. It follows the arrest of Adelaide girl Cassie Sainsbury who was allegedly found carrying 5.8kg of cocaine in her luggage in Colombia. Jodie & Soda undertook a little experiment to see if they could tell the difference...

Jodie & Soda speak with Rusty Young who wrote the book Marching Powder and is about to release a book Colombiano after living in Colombia for eight years on the Adelaide woman arrested after an X-ray machine detected 5.8 kilograms of cocaine hidden in 18 different packages stashed in her luggage. He told Jodie & Soda the Colombian police have reported they were tipped off about Cassie carrying drugs in the airport and the South Australian woman's story didn't add up. "Unfortunately the case against her is very strong...she will get a fair trial but her case could likely take several years...a guilty plea would be a lot quicker but if she's innocent she should stick to her innocent plea"

Adelaide Thunderbirds netballer Renae Ingles reveals exactly how her life has changed since the birth of twins Milla and Jacob with her husband, NBA basketballer Joe Ingles. Ingles explains that she and the twins are on Facetime daily to Dad Joe who's currently playing basketball ahead of the NBA play offs.

Jodie & Soda discuss new photographs released by Colombian police of Australian woman Cassandra Sainsbury wearing handcuffs and standing in front of what authorities allege are 18 packages of cocaine wrapped in black plastic. The images of the 22-year-old Adelaide woman were taken by police shortly after she was arrested for alleged drug trafficking at El Dorado International Airport, in Colombia's capital Bogota, on April 11.

MasterChef's Matt Preston joins Jodie & Soda as season nine kicks off on Australian television. Judges Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris, Matt Preston and 24 hopefuls are back firing up the MasterChef Australia kitchen which more surprises in stall for viewers with a new season. Jodie & Soda also ask Preston about his recent cameo role in Bold And The Beautiful.

Jodie & Soda catch up with My Kitchen Rules Winners Amy & Tyson as the Queensland siblings triumphed over mother-daughter team Valerie and Courtney Ferdinands in the epic Grand Final. The pair scored a whopping 57 out of 60 with perfect tens from Pete Evans, Liz Egan and Karen Martini this led them to claim the $250,000 winner's prize.
