Jodie & Soda speak with US Woman Devon Bieling who has been labelled the real-life Pat Mullins (Chris Lilley's 'We Can Be Heroes') after rolling across the finish line in a marathon in Washington. Bieling explained that she collapsed with 11 metres left in the race but she was determined not to get any assistance and get disqualified, she decided to roll, an idea she got from watching Ironman Kona finishers. "My legs just gave out from underneath me...all I could think about was roll so that's what I did!" The 30-year-old completed the race in 3:34:02, just under the Boston Marathon qualifying time of 3:35:00. She finished 131st overall and 36th among women.

Shane Jacobson celebrates talented kids with Seven's new series, 'Little Big Shots'. Jacobson tells Jodie & Soda when they started filming they had no idea the show would have such an impact on Australian family households. "I'd love to sit here and say we knew it would be a hit from day one but you don't" "I like to find out if Barack Obama's mum knew she had the future President of the United States living her house I bet she says no"

The Block's Sticks & Wombat revealed to Adelaide's Jodie & Soda that tensions are high on the Channel Nine renovation show and its worse than what we see on our screens. "We pretty easy going and there's one couple that stirs everyone up...Ronnie & Georgia" Sticks also confessed he's struggle not the swear during the series and after filming the pilot rang his family to apologise. "I let the tiler have a go in the first week and I walked out the front and called my mum and said sorry I've said some inappropriate things on TV, can you tell Grandma I'm sorry"

Jodie recounts a confrontation with an 8-year-old at Morialta Playground after lining up with her two daughters to go down the giant slide at the popular family spot. Jodie wasn't sure she should tell the story "I can't believe I'm about to tell this story I got into a fight with an 8-year-old boy on the weekend" "Two little boys pushed past me and my little girls and I said 'hey guys there's a line' another boy piped up and said 'are you their mum...you can't tell them what to do!"

Whistleblower Truckie Rusty reveals the world behind being a Truck Driver; from drivers taking drugs to stay awake to ladies of the night spending time in the truck's cabin. Rusty reveals that drugs were rife when he started 25 years ago and before regulation he would spend days driving without a rest. "I've actually done a number of 36 hour straight runs with maybe an hour sleep" "I've seen everything from guns being waved at windows to girls have fun with toys (in the front seat)"

Jodie & Soda speak with Adelaide's own Sunrise Weatherman Sam Mac who has returned home to be 'Sambassador' for the City 2 Bay fun run. What initially started as a chat to promote the charity run turned into trying to set up Sam Mac with a future wife. Sam revealed he has a lot to offer the ladies "Yes I do rescue cats and yes I do give to charity and I'm single" Jodie "mate the two cat thing isn't helping!" Soda wanted to know if his two beloved cats would be joining him in the City 2 Bay race potentially on a leash but it seems the cats didn't make the trip to Adelaide... "Unfortunately they've had to pull out ones too fat and the other one has RBS which is resting B$% face"

The Bachelor Matty J & Laura revealed to Jodie & Soda they have been meeting in secret isolated locations across Australia since filming the reality TV show. Matty J indicated it was tricky at times keeping their relationship a secret "We've had weekend getaways in locations that are very isolated" "We were at one property down near the Hunter Valley (went to have breakfast on the porch)" Laura said the Paparazzi ruined a few moments they had together "Yeah they had a telescopic lens looking straight into what would have been our living room it's just so invasive they we had to spend the rest of the weekend bordered up newspaper across the window and just sitting in a room...Salsa dancing and talking about the ocean with his shirt off"

Jodie & Soda speak with a Whistleblower Police Officer who reveals the tricks to get out of a speeding fine and if they have a quota each month when it comes to handing out fines. "We have an understanding that if we have a reasonable person that we're dealing with we might leave the sanction area blank" Jodie asked if they have a quota when it comes to handing out fines and our Whistleblower indicated they don't. "There's no quota, it's a public myth"

On Wednesday night, Matty chose to let Tara go from The Bachelor, leaving just two ladies standing: Elise and Laura. The final two joined Jodie & Soda with both confirming that one of them is still with Matty J. Adelaide Crows Tom Lynch reveals to Jodie & Soda what the team has been up to while in the Gold Coast. Lynch explained the team needed a break ahead of the preliminary final "We felt like we needed a change of scenery for a couple of days to keep the energy up and keep the boys rejuvenated" The Crows spent a day at Dreamworld theme park where Lynchy explained they seemed to have a little bit of fun. Jodie Oddy "You went to Dreamworld yesterday was there any limits on the ride you could go on?" Lynch "Rory Laird came with us and he wasn't allowed to go on too much you know height restrictions...we felt sorry for him we got on the dodgem cars with him"

Federal Opposition Leader Bill Shorten joined Adelaide's Jodie & Soda to encourage people to vote in the same-sex marriage postal survey but the conversation soon turned to the popular television series Game of Thrones. Breakfast Presenter Jodie Oddy asked "Bill we had the Prime Minister on the other day and he's a fan of Game of Thrones, if you could be a character who would you be and who would the Prime Minister be?" MP Bill Shorten responded "I'd be Jon Snow...he's true to himself" Soda then suggested the Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull could be the infamous Ice Dragoon but Shorten had another idea. Shorten "Is he the King of the White Walkers"

Erik Thomson returns as newspaper columnist and single dad George Turner in 800 Words back on Channel 7. Thomson tells Jodie & Soda this season if less about his love life but more about family.

Jodie & Soda speak with Libby Bell's uncle Clint Gow-Smith on the push to create a bullying- specific law that would put serious offenders behind bars for up to 10 years. The legislation dubbed "Libby's Law" was prompted by the suicide of 13-year-old Seaford Secondary College student Libby Bell, who was bullied online and at school. The Year 8 student died on August 28 after enduring what her family alleges was years of cyber bullying over Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. She was also subject to physical abuse from peers, including at a Seaford fast food outlet last year when she was filmed having a drink poured over her. Clint's advice to anyone experiencing bullying or witnessing it: "Speak up! Australian media icon Ita Buttrose tells Jodie & Soda how she felt when she realized Cold Chisel had written a song about her. "They told me they use to watch the Women's Weekly commercials which i presented every week on the television...it inspired them to write a song about me" Ita will speak at The Pink Lady Luncheon raising money to support the work of Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA)held Tuesday September 12 at the National Wine Centre, Adelaide. The Bachelor's Florence has revealed to Adelaide's Mark 'Soda' Soderstrom that she's had plenty of offers for a date since leaving The Bachelor Mansion. Florence "Today I got a message and it was an interesting offer it was someone who asked me if he could be my Sugar Daddy" Soda replied with "Is his name Geoffrey Edelsten?" Florence jokingly responds "Yeah it is....how did you know?"

Jodie & Soda ask South Australia's Premier Jay Weatherill on the Royal Adelaide Show, SA Power, Adelaide road works and The Bachelor. When asked if he bought the Jodie & Soda Showbag at this year's Royal Adelaide Show Mr Weatherill confessed he hadn't bought the show bag for his kids but didn't miss Jodie & Soda's presence whilst he was there with the family. There's no question that Australia's Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is a big fan of the television series Game of Thrones but he just gave away the end of Season 7 in an interview with Adelaide's Breakfast show Jodie & Soda. When asked if he was disappointed that musician Ed Sheeran wouldn't appear again on the popular show again the Prime Minister gave his thoughts on Season 7 even giving away the ending... "I'm more interested in the Ice Dragon in the next series. I hope I'm not doing any spoilers here there must be a point where you can talk about the latest episode surely" The Prime Minister also wasn't shy to tell his views on South Australia's Premier Jay Weatherill when it came to renewable energies in the State. Bachelor contestant Elora told Jodie & Soda she feel hard for The Bachelor's Matty J but reveals they did not have sex during their overnight date. When asked if Matty J had stayed the night with the fire-dancer she revealed it was portrayed differently on the show that what happened in real-life. Elora "No he didn't and when I asked him if he was coming in it wasn't asking him to stay the night" Soda "did you reckon he slept with anyone during the show?" Elora "I reckon the person he ended up with yes, there's no way anyone stuck it in Matty was locked away there's no way"
