Soda’s son Felix was given Lego for his fifth birthday and it seems Soda has formed a little addiction to the children’s building toy.Jodie has received a call from Heath at the Toy Corner in Dernancourt and it seems Soda is using his son’sBut Jodie reveals his new fondness for Lego has gone to the next level…“We’ve had a phone call from a man called Heath he works at a place called Toy Corner at Dernancourt, did you or did you not go and visit Toy Corner?”Soda responded, “oh I just quickly popped in to replace Felix’s Spiderman”Heath revealed Soda’s downplaying of the visit to the Toy store to purchase Lego wasn’t quite what it seemed.“I wouldn’t exactly call it a quick trip!”“It’s good to hear your son was happy with them what about the ones for yourself? It seems a little bit like ‘they are for my son’ wink wink nudge nudge!”

Port Adelaide star Robbie Gray has been diagnosed with testicular cancer.Urologist Dr James Aspinall told Jodie & Soda testicular cancer does target young men but there’s a 99% success rate of survival.“Young men are the ones that cop it, like poor Robbie”“Basically, every patient who is diagnosed will survive... Robbie's got a good prognosis”The three-time best-and-fairest winner has had post-season surgery to remove the tumour and will undergo a short course of precautionary chemotherapy, according to the Power.

South Australian Tennis Coach Darren Cahill told Jodie & Soda he’s proud that Simona Halep has become the first female to be No.1 in the WTA world rankings. The former US Open semi-finalist guided Lleyton Hewitt into history as the youngest season-ending world No 1 in 2001 and two years later, he helped Andre Agassi return to the top of the rankings heap as a 33-year-old — the oldest man, at the time, to do so.He explained he’s been lucky with the tennis talent he’s been able to coach.“You’re only as good as the horses you have and I’ve had a few great ones…“Lleyton was the youngest whoever won and Andre was the oldest now the first female to be ranked Number 1 with Simona it’s been a great ride for sure!” 

Aussie Actor Steve Bisley reveals to Jodie & Soda he has a photographic memory and it came in handy when working on his latest book ‘All the Burning Bridges’.  Bisley broke into acting alongside fellow National Institute of Dramatic Art graduate, Mel Gibson in Mad Max, and soon found himself in regular demand, appearing in TV shows Doctor Doctor & Water Rats. Bisley explained he had some regrets when turning down certain roles in the past as some turned out to be big hits. “I’ve said no to a couple of things that I probably should have said yes to”“I’ve known Baz Luhrmann from way back and he gave me the script to Romeo & Juliet I read and thought this is going nowhere…”  Soda asked if the rumours of him and Mel Gibson being asked to play the roles in Mad Max and supporting each other at the auditions.“That’s crap…there’s a few of those myths going around we were both asked to audition we weren’t given the roles”

Forensic Cleaner Christine reveals to Jodie & Soda what really happens when she goes into a place to clean up after a crime. Christine said she became a forensic cleaner when she was confronted with death and realised there wasn’t an industry to tackle these tricky situations.“I lost my mum when I was young so I was left with a mess there was no one such thing as a Forensic cleaner in Adelaide”  “You can’t remove blood, the amount of blood we’re dealing with is in excess, you wash it down with a solution and I always suggest you paint it down afterwards”

Melinda Simpson from Melbourne was leaving Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino with her husband, son and daughter when the shooting began.Simpson revealed to Jodie & Soda the terrifying moment they walked onto the Las Vegas strip and tried to return to their hotel. "There was literally hundreds of thousands people running at you screaming!" Police identified the gunman as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, who was armed with more than 10 rifles rained down gunfire on a Las Vegas country music festival on Sunday, slaughtering at least 58 people in the largest mass shooting in US history before killing himself.

Jodie & Soda speak with Tom Godfrey from CHOICE who gives a big warning to footy fans trying to get tickets for the AFL Preliminary Final and Grand Final through resale sites like ViaGoGo. Choice surveyed 438 Australians who have made complaints about ticket resellers including Viagogo, Stubhub and TicketmasterResale. Godfrey's advice is to make sure you purchase tickets always through the official avenues. When asked by Adelaide's breakfast presenter Mark 'Soda' Soderstrom, Lynch has some fun responding with creative ways to intimidate the opposition. Soda "We saw in the last final against GWS you were all standing their bold and Gladiator style what will you be doing this time for National Anthem?" Lynch indicated the team could potentially do a dance to intimate the Cats and he some interesting suggestions on what song would work for the team to perform. "Maybe the Nutbush!... it would be hilarious!" Soderstrom responded with some tongue cheek requests "Imagine if we just saw big Tex riding a horse like Gangnam style?" Lynch "He's be the most awkward I reckon or Josh...crazy!" Soda "The Cats wouldn't know what's going on" Lynch "We'd kick six before they can even blink"
