"Now this is a question honestly that I've been getting since 2013. In fact when I first released K Money Mastery in August 2013, and I was coaching Kindle publishing for like a year before that. When I first launched it there were people out there saying that you can't make money with Kindle. They just believed that it was saturated, that it was competitive. " The first thing I'll say is that there, really I heard this a while ago, there are two ways to get rich, one is to try to invent something brand new, something no one else ever heard before. There are people out there that get really wealthy and make a lot of money doing it that way but believe it or not it's very very few people. That's a very very challenging hard way to become successful and get rich. The easier way to get rich which is the second way is to build a better mousetrap. "I have a lot to say about this. What I leave you with is that in every goal that your pursuing in your life you need some form of accountability. Accountability is critical. When you think about it we've all been dabblers. When we're young, when we're kids we're basically dabblers. When you're kids your probably just want to have fun, play with your friends. We're not productive, we're not business oriented. We're not in the mindset of working or anything like that. So we're pretty much all dabblers. In this video Stefan answers a question he commonly gets such as if one can publish a Kindle book under a pen name. "Very common in the publishing industry pen name also known as a pseudo name, it's basically a made-up name. This is very common especially amongst the fiction market, fiction authors and publishers. Mark Twain is probably the most famous pen name or made-up name out there. When you publish your Kindle book in KDP it gives you the option of selecting the contributor for your book so you can input whatever author name you want. "I came across a really good powerful segment that Jeff Walker was teaching about creating a story in your business and in your marketing and especially when you are selling a product. Stories are one of the most important ways to really influence someone and even teach people things as well. Humanity that's how people always taught lessons. As in a tribe just like a father would teach a son was through stories. Usually when someone tells a story the people that are listening to the story go to a trance. In this Q&A video Stefan answers a common question he gets which is -- what does think about the new Kindle unlimited program that Amazon just rolled out. "Kindle Unlimited is a program that Amazon released where customers pay every month about $10 a month and they get unlimited access to download Kindle books that are only enrolled as part of the KDP select. As a Kindle publisher when you published your book you have an option of enrolling your book in the KDP select program. That basically means that your Kindle book is exclusive only to Amazon for 90 days and then it automatically re-enrolls itself. There's just doing the very minimum. You can't do the very minimum in anything and expect for it to last long term. So if you're publishing a crappy book, doing the very minimum to market your book in Amazon reviews and all that stuff. You might make a bit of money in the short term but it's not going to last over the long term. He's involved in a business, like a big corporation that's kind of doing some shady stuff. What happened is he has everything taken away from him. He loses his job. The FBI freezes his bank account. I see this happen time and time again. It's a trap. So many people fall into it. They start making more money sure enough they increase their lifestyle expenses. They buy a nicer car, a bigger house, they buy more clothes. They start going out more, eating out more. All of a sudden because they're making more money sure enough their expenses increase to match that. One of the reasons why so many people are having financial challenges is they spend what they earn. They don't have any cushion. They're basically live paycheck to paycheck. Should you be embarrassed to promote yourself online? Many people are hesitant to market and promote themselves online. They don't want to ruffle any feathers or have their friends or family judge them. I've been there too. Until one day, I realized that I was holding myself back from sharing my gifts with the world. Today, I promote myself openly and freely. I don't try to hide the fact that I own a blog or what my business is about. I know I have value to add in the world and am proud of everything that I create and share, so why not put it out there? Why not tell others about it? If people don't like it, then they can unfriend you and probably aren't your real "Facebook friends." It's better to find out now than later about that. I believe a friend is someone that will support you, encourage you, be proud of you, and cheer you on.
