The Nationwide Search for Lawrence Devol, the triggerman of the Ma Barker-Karpis Gang, was in full swing in July,1936. An insane killer                 was on the loose. Does  the Tall Tale of a major gunfight on the Enid downtown square have any truth to it? Was the last of the depression era             killers in Enid?
