This morning's text fits beautifully with us sharing Communion! The Lord's Supper was instituted by our Lord on the night in which He was betrayed and arrested, as the disciples were sharing the Passover meal with Him. The Passover was a perpetual feast that served to remind the Israelites of their redemption from Egypt's bondage. Likewise, the Lord's Supper reminds every believer that they have been redeemed by a great sacrifice; the sacrifice of God's One and Only Son!
