Jose Sotolongo is the Director of Sports and Entertainment Tourism for the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau. He has brought some of the most famous iconic sporting events to Miami including the 2026 FIFA World Cup and has been instrumental on the sporting event landscape in Miami for over 32 years.  Jose is also a 20-Year Miami Marathon Streaker and passionate runner. We are talk about how he started his career and where his passion for running began, his favorite parts of the Miami Marathon and what you need to know if you are running this race in 2023. It’s the 21st Anniversary of the Life Time Miami Marathon this year, and both the full and half marathon sold out last week. Runners from over 65 countries represented, and just shy of all 50 states (missing Montana, South Dakota and Vermont) come together for this iconic race.
