Today, knowing that I am no better than anyone else, and no worse than anyone else, gives me peace of mind. I used to work so hard to try and prove that I was better than everyone because on the inside I felt as if I was inferior to those around me. Viewing everyone as my equal allows me to fully respect the decisions of those around me.
