Synopsis

I am not responsible for the the first thought I have, today. I am however responsible for the second thought. This is an idea that helps to remove the guilt I have for thinking certain thoughts. For example, if someone were to cut me off while driving, my first thought would be to cuss or perform some kind of obscene gesture. I am happy to be in a place where I no longer act upon these impulses, but I still feel the guilt on my conscience. Today, I try to be more accepting of my thoughts, and this gives me peace of mind.
