It is an exciting week in the world of endurance sports and triathlon with the 2022 VINfast IRONMAN World Championships of triathlon taking place in Kailua-Kona for the first time in three years and for the first time ever as a two-day event on Thursday, October 6, 2022  for the womens race &  Saturday, October 8 2022 for the men’s race. This SUPERBOWL of triathlon has over 100 profesional triathletes and over 5,000 top age groupers from around the globe coming together for this 140.6 mile adventure, journey and iconic event, which has been taking place on The Big Island for 40+ years.
