His accolades include a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from South Carolina State University. He is currently a music teacher and band director at Cross Elementary and Cross High School. This role allows him to have a huge impact in inspiring the youth. His greatest achievement as a music educator was celebrating the win of his pupil, Joshua Rogers, the Season 5 winner of BET’s Sunday Best. In 2011 Patterson nearly lost his life. Almost 150 pounds overweight; he was hospitalized due to complications with diabetes. Realizing he was called by God he knew there was greater work to do. With the support and encouragement of family his artistry was birthed. God’s prophesies has been fulfilled
