President, Hamilton Police Association. Minimum wage increased yesterday in Ontario to $14 dollars. There was backlash from some in regards to the decision to up the minimum wage. What benefits and drawbacks will this have for local business and employees. ALSO: For the first time, Canada’s 100 highest paid CEOs netted 209 more than the average worker.
