According to a StatsCan report, between 1994 and 2012, a total of 1,408 cycling accidents occurred. Last year, there were 42 fatalities in all of Canada. This month, there’s been atleast five reported in the news. This is prompting cyclists to have a conversation about bike safety. Guest: Ryan McGreal, Editor of Raise the Hammer. What’s in a name? Trustees within the HWDSB rejected the motion to approve Shannen Koostachin Secondary School as a name.
