On Point With Alex Pierson

Does the country's system of law turn it's balanced shoulder away from those who are well-known within the public eye? From the kidnapping and killing of an innocent little girl to years of sexaul assualt on helpless victims, should the justice system "sentence" those "celebrities" any different than if a regular person committed those same crimes?
