This week Podcast of Champions hosts Ryan Abraham and David Woods wish Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff a very happy one year anniversary. If you recall Kliavkoff officially took over for the embattled Larry Scott on July 1, 2021, right at the time that college football went from a silly sport to certifiably insane one. Corresponding with his start date, the NCAA permitted all student athletes to profit off of their Name, Image and Likeness but provided very little in the form of rules and guidelines. The sport was also rocked when Texas and Oklahoma decided to leave the Big 12 and enter the SEC plus a new 12-team college football playoff format was announced and then quickly shot down and fought over for several months before ultimately being shelved.
