Motivated by his growing rage for the corporations and privileged whites who turned jazz into boring elevator music, Miles Davis takes yet another U-turn in the winding road of his career. This time, he teams up with the free love movement and some of the best funk and rock & roll musicians of the time to create what Carlos Santana called "Music that gets you high just by listening to it."
