From 2008: Vicki Myron, author of "Dewey: the Small Town Library Cat who Touched the World."  It tells the true story of how Ms. Myron, the head of the public library in Spencer, Iowa found a tiny kitten abandoned in the library's drop box on a bitterly cold winter night - adopted it and made it the library cat, where it charmed library patrons until Dewey's death in 2006.
