In July 1982 while filming the Twilight Zone movie, actor Vic Morrow and two child actors were killed by a crashing helicopter while filming a scene during the movie. The accident reveled numerous short-cuts were taken and safety protocols bypassed which contributed to the tragedy. The Twilight Zone movie disaster is one of our 100 darkest moments in pop culture history.
